Bushfire Appeal Update
Saturday 7 February saw the worst bushfires in Australian history sweep across Victoria, devastating 78 communities and 400,000 hectares of land. A total of 173 people lost their lives. The devastation resulted in 2029 homes destroyed along with hundreds of businesses, 5 schools and kindergartens, 3 sporting clubs and numerous other buildings.
To support the communities affected by these bushfires the Tupperware team pledged to donate $50 worth of Tupperware products for every party held to those impacted by the Black Saturday fires, as part of ‘Party for your Mates in March’. And for every new Demonstrator that joined the team in March, Tupperware donated a further $200 to the cause.
As a result, we now have more than $1.1 million worth of product that we are providing to those families and individuals in bushfire-affected communities.
Over 350 packs have already been delivered with many more still to go, and on this page we've collected some of the positive comments that have started to flow onto us.
Once again, thank you to all those that partied during March, and those that introduced and started during March, you are all helping to bring smiles to so many bushfire affected people.
And special thanks to those of you that are delivering the packs, without your ongoing commitment we would not be able to add that personal touch that Tupperware is renowned for.
