July Competition

Our new competition this month is centred one of our newest and most amazingly handy products.

We'd like you to send in your best recipes that utilize the Speedy Chef. Entries will be judged on practicality, originality, and of course, flavour, with the winning entry published in the next issue of Insight and earning one of these clever digital photo frames for its author.

Please send your entries to webinfo@tupperware.com and put the words "Recipe Competition" in the subject line.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed their favourite dating tips in last month's competition. Our winning entry was submitted by Rebecca Hazra, from Diamond Sales in NSW. Rebecca was also the winner of last month's recipe competition, so well done Rebecca! You've won one of these fantastic digital photo frames.

The winning dating tip:

STACK THE HOST GAME

"I love doing this. It makes the host feel good and the guests get excited about booking their own party. Bring your host to the front of the room where you are demonstrating your products and have her sit in a chair. Start piling on all the free items she is getting for having a party. Use your typical party total for reference, since her party is not closed out yet.

For example, say, “With a $1000 party Patty will receive....” Go over everything and explain how she got it; the gift for dating (if appropriate) , the Thank You Gift, the Host Gift(s), extra Tupperware for having extra party bookings or sales, Host Bonus, any Host Offers such as half price products, Tic-Tac-Toe gifts…everything! Have another guest keep track of the retail value of all the gifts she is getting, and give you a grand total at the end.

This leaves your party host beaming and your guests envious and ready to book."

Honourable mentions:

"My best dating tool without fail is the little ‘hints' I place on my display. I always place some chocolate, or a bag of flour, or a bottle of champagne. Guests then become curious as to why you have those items on your display. I then proceed to inform them of the themes I can offer relating to the specific product/s that I will take on the day! They are surprised to hear some of the awesome themes and book on the spot. I have even had a call after a party… a girl called to book after her mum had seen some chocolate on my display and told her about the chocolate fondue! Simple and easy and it works :)" Emma Watson - Demonstrator

"At parties I always ask for guests to give me ‘good reasons to hold their own party or demo’. I give them lollies or raffle tickets when they shout out answers. It is a great way to get them thinking about why they should have a party and all of the reasons are coming from their friends not me. The first answer is always "FREE STUFF"! It is a really nice lead into talking about Host or Thank You Gifts." Sally Watson - Manager
