Many thanks to everyone who contributed their favourite recipes featuring Tupperware microwave products. This month’s winning recipe was favoured due to its speed, simplicity and versatility. Sweet or savoury – it works as a snack, a lunch box filler, a side dish at dinner time…

Congratulations to new Demonstrator, Giulietta Petrone, from Trilogy Sales in Victoria. You’ve won a fantastic Tupperware Collapsible Basket.

Of the recipe, Guilietta says, “I’ve only just started with Tupperware (my Announcement party was on 27 February) but I’ve been using Tupperware products for many years now.
I found this recipe on the internet a while back and modified it to make it my own. It’s a great quick after-school snack for the kids. Not to mention great for those nights you have no bread in the house. Enjoy!”

Sweet Polenta Bread

Ingredients
1 cup plain flour
1 cup polenta
1/3 cup white sugar
2 tbs baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 medium eggs
1 cup milk
3 tbs vegetable oil

Method
1. Insert the paddle attachment in the Quick Chef II. Add all dry ingredients to the Quick Chef II. Cover and turn handle until well combined.
2. Add eggs, milk and oil to the Quick Chef II, cover and turn handle until well combined.
3. Using the TupperChef™ Spatula, transfer the dough to the TupperWave® Stack Cooker 2.25 Litre Base.
4. Microwave, uncovered, on Medium High (70-80%/650watts) for 10 minutes. Check if cooked by inserting a toothpick or wooden skewer. If the skewer comes out clean, it is ready. Otherwise, cook for a further 2 minutes, or until the skewer comes out clean when tested.
5. Slice immediately for delicious hot bread. Serve on it’s own or topped with butter.

Guilietta’s tips
• Once cooled you can reheat the bread in the Stack Cooker cover.
• For a savoury version, exclude the sugar and add 1/3 cup of grated parmesan cheese.
