Oatmeal and Raisin Drop Cookies

  • Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    ½ cup caster sugar
    1 egg
    ¼ cup water
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1½ cups plain flour
    ½ tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    2 tsp ground cinnamon
    3 cups rolled oats
    1 cup raisins

  • Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180˚C. Place the TupperChef™ Baking Sheet on a metal tray.

    Using electric beaters, cream the butter and sugars in the Bake 2 Basics Large Bowl. Add the egg, water and vanilla, mixing ingredients together.

    Place the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in the Bake 2 Basics Sift ‘N Stor and sift into the butter mixture. Using the TupperChef Spatula mix ingredients together and then add rolled oats and raisins, gently folding through the mixture.

    Drop tablespoons of the biscuit dough 2.5 cm apart onto the TupperChef Baking Sheet, and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are done and the centres are just firm. Stand for 3 minutes. Transfer the biscuits to a rack to cool completely before storing in the Bake 2 Basics Sweet Keeper.
